The pioneering and tireless efforts of the Venkatesapuram Association have resulted in the establishment and growth of the Junior Basic School in 1956 with the strength of 47 students and 2teachers. It was upgraded into a Senior Basic (VI to VIII)in June 1957.

Within a short time the school was posed with problem of providing a more spacious accommodation to the increased strength of the students. The Central Government gave a grant and the remaining was raised by conducting cultural programmes and Philanthropic Contributions. At this Critical the Providential generousity of Thiru J.H.Tarapore and Thiru C.S.Loganatha Mudaliar came to our rescue. Their donations helped us in completing the present spacious structures.

In 1961 a Pre-Nursery School for children 3 to 5 year was started and in 1964 senior basic Schoool was upgraded into High School. The members of the association formed the Trust Board in 1973 with our esteemed parton Thiru J.H. Tarapore as its life president.

In 1976 Mrs.D.T.M.P.S.(English Medium) from Pre K.G. to V std was started. Our school excelled in academic standard and so it was included in the frist batch of institution seleted for the Higher Secondary Course in 1978. Our S.G.M.S for girls was inaugurated on 24th May 1987 by Thiru J.H. TARAPORE and it has grown as a full fledged Matriculation School For girls in 1991,under the management of the Venkatatesapuram Tarapore Educational Trust. The property of Land with building has been naned after her late husband Dr.Salai Govindarajan.

After the demise ot our patron Thiru J.H. Tarapore in 1988 this work was entrused to President Thiru Keku D.Parakh and after him, this noble work is taken up byThiru Dinshaw K.Parakh with his able stewardship the trust is efficiently functioning.
